And now for something completely different!

I got some nice pictures during Chinese New Year, so I'll just put it all up here.

This is my visiting outfit for the first day. The top and shoes are new, but the skirt is an old favourite of mine, and besides it matched nicely.

It's a bit small to be seen clearly, but you can click on the picture to go to flickr and see the full size picture (you might want to rotate it first).

On the 4th day we went to a theme park. It was great fun, my sister and I went on a really wild ride that turns you upside down. It was the scariest ride we had all day.

I just got off a wet ride that was kinda tame. But really soaking wet.

And after that I met up with him for a movie, 'Constantine'. Not a bad movie, but a few holes here and there. I think I liked Harry Potter better.

And the best thing about going home is seeing my dog. He's warming up to the camera. Now he does poses and all that like a professional!

Looks like a canine Baywatch or something.

I Love Egg!

Not a photo post per se, but it's just so darn cute that I couldn't resist.

Eggs

From a Korean website called I Love Eggs which I stumbled on through Boing Boing, possibly the world's most popular blog. It's really cute! Like the Happy Tree Friends without all the, uh, objectionable stuff.

Listen to the Egg Song. Perhaps it'll stick in your head the way it's stuck in mine.

A Milan special

Once upon a time I had a kitten. It was of indeterminate sex, and it was cute. I kept it for one week then gave it away to someone else.
I took many pictures of it, because a furry kitten with large eyes is a photo opportunity waiting to be taken.
It was really cute when it slept. Its name was Milan (I don't know what it's called now).

Kittens love soft snuggly places.

It had really funny sleeping styles. It particularly liked my beanbag Smooshy, and claimed Smooshy as its own. Once it was lying asleep and just slid off the edge of the beanbag. That must have been a shock!

And to end with the requisite "adorable eyes" image:

Awwww!

A long long time ago in Marine Vista

A long time ago, when I was young and the world was new, I went to school in Victoria Junior College. Once you enter Uni, JC seems like so long ago. For the guys it really is a long time ago, because they've had 2 years of NS to wash the JC residue out and make them MEN! but for us girls, with our sentimental feelings, it seems like yesterday we were experiencing coed school for the first time in many years (for me anyway).

Here's the picture anyway, taken by our Physics tutor. It was before the JAE so some of the people in the photos ended up going to other JCs. And of course this explains my weird PLMGS-meets-SCGS outfit. It's called a Malaysian secondary school pinafore!

Going picture crazy!

Well the Merlion is spouting happily. I'm going to see if the photos are too large. I changed the template to accommodate the photo, but I might really have to resize if it intrudes on the margin.

That is me, taking a picture of my pretty self before heading off to the bash at Newsroom Bar. My hair looks awful. But the eyeshadow isn't as heavy as my friend said it was.

My photoblog!

Let me test out Flickr and see if it will let me put up a picture this time.

Can anyone see the Merlion?
